Crafted from high-temperature fired matte porcelain, Zens Lifestyle's cobblestone series is based on the forms of pebbles in a stream. Normally, porcelain is suitable for the dishwasher (don't cram it) . For the best result and the longest pleasure we recommend washing these items by hand. This is partly due to the relatively aggresive action of dishwasher tablets that can have a bad influence on the glaze of the porcelain. In order to protect the glaze, it is preferable to avoid rough rubbing against each other during stacking. Never let your porcelain soak in soapy water (with bleach) eventough your porcelain teacup will always come out brandnew. This treatment can be disastrous. Through small cracks (that you cannot see with your naked eye) the bleach can reach the porcelain. After a while it will create crystals who will eventually break the glaze. If that happens, your porcelain will be irreparably damaged.
